WA-254-P
Advanced Prospects, Offshore Carnarvon Basin
Operator, Apache, has a successful established production base on the Legendre Oil Field, currently producing at 40,000 barrels of oil per day, on the northern margins of WA-254-P. As such there has been a recent acceleration of interest in the permit by major permit participant, Apache, who has 64.95% to 72.25% interest in its prospects.
Current prospects and leads of interest following 3D seismic reprocessing are Duomonte, Sage, Olympus, Dr Zeus, Little Joe, Helly Belly and Jayasuriya. The Operator continues to work this seriatum ahead of a drilling commitment after June 2010.

Duomonte
The Duomonte Prospect is already a candidate for drilling following an Apache internal peer technical review. The potential of the Duomonte Prospect ranges from 16 (mean) to 44 (P10) mmbo recoverable. Two thirds of the potential lies within WA-254-P. The target is Legendre Formation sands at 2,500m depth in a faulted horst block on the high side of the regional Rosemary Fault. New seismic data suggests deeper North Rankin and Mungaroo sands (Erebus Prospect: 34(Pmean) mmbo recoverable) require assessment too before Duomonte can be drilled.

Sage
Sage is an oil discovery with little associated gas. Sage-1 intersected oil columns at 3 levels; M. australis (Saffron Sand) gross 25m column (net 18m), M. testudinara gross 7.0m column (net 4.4m), Angel Sandstone gross 16.5m column (net 7m). A test of the Saffron Sand over a 25m interval flowed 2,155bo of 48o API oil and 425,000scfg. Aspects of the prospect have now been clarified by reprocessing of the 3D seismic with new technology with the main Saffron Sand reservoir now having a limited potential of between 7.2 (mean) to 9.9 (P10) mmbo recoverable. Small upside is possible from the remaining underlying reservoirs (the M testudinara and Angel Formation - 1.1 (mean) to 2.4 (P10) mmbo recoverable) and development is conditional on commercial success through drilling in adjacent Apache held permits. Sage presently suffers smallness of size for a standalone development which has been highlighted by further reservoir engineering studies. These studies suggest production should be limited to only the better porosity - permeability of the basal reservoir sands of the Saffron Sand which will limit overall producible reserves to 3.4 (mean) to 5.2 (P10) mmbo. Sun Resources' current interest is 9.65%.
Within WA-254-P Eliassen stratigraphic traps (basin floor sand fans) have been outlined by amplitude anomalies. The Jayasuriya and Helly Belly leads as such are possible 20 to 50 (P10) million barrels targets.
